Having just been beaten Mike Tyson has set his eyes on Jake Paul’s older brother

Jake Paul reigned supreme over Mike Tyson tonight in what some fans have dubbed as ‘the most boring boxing fight in the history of boxing’.

Despite the match going the distance, there was not too much that went on – other than watching a 27-year-old land punch after punch on a 58-year-old.

‘The Problem Child’ won following a unanimous decision, and from the outside looking in it seemed like Tyson wouldn’t be in a hurry to climb back into the ring.

During the post-fight interview, Tyson was asked by a reporter: “Are you surprised it went the distance?”

To which he replied: “No I knew he was a good fighter, I knew he was prepared but I came to fight.”

Quizzed again about his age, the reporter said: “You know, 58, a lot of people thought you shouldn’t be here a lot of people thought you’d be done and dusted in the first round, do you feel like you proved the world wrong that you could at least go eight rounds with a younger man?”

Tyson stated: “I didn’t prove nothing to anybody only to myself I’m not one of those guys that looks to please the world, I’m just happy what I can do.”

The former two-time heavyweight champion of the world was then asked could that fight be the last time he enters the ring, but Tyson showed no sign of stopping.

Yes, instead of tasting defeat and bowing out, he’s gone all guns blazing and called out Jake’s older brother Logan Paul in what was a slightly awkward exchange after losing.

“You got more in you, who crosses the mind?” he was asked.

Tyson replied: “Oh, I don’t know. Maybe his brother.”

Before epically pointing at Logan.

After calling him out, the co-founder of energy drink Prime replied: “Well f***, I’ll kill you Mike.”

Tyson and Paul initially planned to box in the summer but just two months before their bout the once undisputed two-time heavyweight champion of the world was forced to pull out due to an ‘ulcer flare up’.

Fans forked out as much as $2 million for the spectacle – yes, there were really VIP tickets going for that much and all the tickets sold out.

There were 65,000 people in attendance while millions more tuned in around the globe through streaming giant Netflix.

While it hasn’t been revealed just how much money is on the line it’s understood that the winner will be getting tens of millions of dollars. Speaking at a press conference in August, Paul said: “I’m here to make $40 million and knock out a legend.”

Tyson is rumored to have a purse of $20 million.

The highly anticipated bout finally took place in Texas, and we have our winner

After months of anticipation, the winner in the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been declared, with the YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul being named victorious in a unanimous decision.

The two boxers finally went head-to-head at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas today, four months after their fight had originally been scheduled to take place.

The pair were first meant to fight in July, but the bout got postponed after Tyson experienced a flare-up of an ulcer.

But the 58-year-old boxer has since recovered and got himself fighting fit, ready to take on the former YouTuber who’s 31 years his junior.

The eight round fight went the distance and was scored 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 in favour of the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

It might have been the first time the pair actually met in the ring, but tonight’s bout was far from the first time Tyson and Paul have attacked one another.

In fact, Tyson even went as far as to slap Paul in the final face-off prior to their boxing match on November 14.

The slap came after Tyson and Paul conducted their weigh in, with Paul coming in at 227.2lb while Tyson came in at 228.4lb.

The pair then came face-to-face, and Tyson slapped Paul before security were able to step in.

After seemingly getting a taste of what was in store, Paul claimed he ‘didn’t even feel’ the slap.

“He’s an angry little elf,” Paul said. “Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap, buddy, but tomorrow you’re getting knocked the f*** out. I’m f***ing him up.

“He hits like a b***, it’s personal now, he must die!”

Big words, to say the least.

Tyson thankfully did not die during the bout, even with the high stakes of it being his first professional fight since 2005.

The renowned boxer spoke confidently ahead of the fight, claiming Paul was ‘in a lot of trouble’.

“He can say whatever he wants. In the ring is where the party begins and he’s finally going to party with the big boys,” he said.

Paul’s record prior to his fight with Tyson was 10-1, including seven knockouts. His loss came in early 2023, when he was defeated by Tyson Fury’s half-brother, Tommy Fury.

However, the former YouTuber remained determined to beat Tyson, saying: “I fear no man. I want him to be that old savage Mike.

“He says he’s going to kill me, is that what you’re going to do?… I want there to be no excuses when I knock him out.”

Reason why Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will both be suspended regardless of who wins fight

The forced break comes from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will finally face off in Texas today (November 15), but no matter who wins, both boxers will be handed suspensions.

The fight has been a long time coming for boxing fans, who have spent months waiting for YouTuber Paul to finally enter the ring against boxing veteran Tyson.

The pair will fight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the bout streamed on Netflix for viewers across the globe.

Both have talked a big game in the run-up to the event, with Paul going as far as to claim Tyson ‘must die’, while Tyson has made clear that he’s ‘not intimidated or afraid’ of Paul.

But while the question of who will come out on top is yet to be answered, one thing’s for certain: both boxers will be suspended from the ring after they finally meet.

The forced break comes through an order from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which is overseeing the fight in Arlington.

No matter who wins, both Tyson and Paul will have to rest for at least seven days.

Additional rest days are tacked on according to the number of rounds fought, with three days handed for every round.

With Paul and Tyson set to go eight rounds tonight, this means they could be away from the ring for a maximum of 24 days.

Even more rules come into play if either fighter loses by technical knockout, at which point they will be suspended for a minimum of 30 days. If the fight ends in a knockout, the loser will have to step back for at least 60 days.

Either Tyson or Paul could appeal a suspension, as the department regulations explain: “Medical disqualification of a contestant is for their own safety and may be made at the recommendation of the examining physician or TDLR.

“A contestant who disagrees with a medical disqualification, medical suspension or rest period set at the discretion of a ringside physician or a disqualification or suspension set by the department may request a hearing to show proof of fitness.”

However, with so much work having gone into this particular fight, it is unlikely either Paul or Tyson would rush to return to the ring in the next two months anyway.

With only a few hours to go now until the big moment, we’ll have to wait and see whether either Tyson or Paul have to end up taking that extended time off.
