Jennifer Lopez is leaning into method dressing.
In Park City, Utah on Sunday, Jan. 26, the singer and actress, 55, debuted not one but two on-theme looks for the Sundance Film Festival premiere of the movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman. For the afterparty, Lopez debuted showed off a sheer black jumpsuit bedazzled from head to toe in a glittery spiderweb pattern.
In an Instagram Reel, the star is seen dramatically taking off a fur coat to reveal the ensemble. “After Party Kiss 😘,” she captioned the post.
Fans went wild for the themed moment in the comments. “YOU ARE FREAKING GORGEOUS ❤️🕷 we love you so much!!! Can’t wait for the new movie to come out. You deserve all the love❤️❤️❤️,” one wrote.

Earlier in the evening, the Unstoppable actress walked the red carpet in a black Valdrin Sahiti lace gown decked out in Hassanzadeh jewelry forming a spiderweb from her neck to her feet. While heading to the event, she kept warm by wearing a white fur coat over the outfit.

Ahead of the premiere, Lopez embraced the winter weather in a white Hermès jumpsuit and matching puffer vest from the brand. She accessorized with a brown Kelly belt that featured a mini-purse around her waist and topped the outfit off with an oversized and fluffy white fur coat from YSL.

Kiss of the Spider Woman is a reimagining of John Kander, Fred Ebb and Terrence McNally‘s stage adaptation of Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel of the same name. Lopez appears as the movie star Ingrid Luna while actor Diego Luna portrays a political prisoner during Argentina’s civil war in the 1980s, incarcerated alongside another man played by Tonatiuh.
“It was challenging in the way that indie films are challenging, where you have limited time, limited money, you gotta get it,” Lopez told PEOPLE at Sundance about shooting songs in one take. “If you don’t get it, you’re not doing it.”
“And so it won’t make the film. It’s a lot of pressure in that way, you know, and so you gotta come very prepared and ready to go and nail it and so that was a little bit of a mishap in that one, but we got it!,” she continued. “We got it.”
