Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish might change the music scene for good!

The two pop stars appeared together at the event Wicked | A Conversation with Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande at the DGA Theater Complex in Hollywood on Tuesday, Feb. 4, where Eilish, 23, interviewed Grande about her role of Glinda in the musical blockbuster. However, fans went wild when the celebrity interviewer mistakenly said she had “a few more songs” instead of “a few more questions” for Grande.

The “Birds of a Feather” singer told the Wicked star, “Okay, a few more songs, and then… Songs? Did I say songs?”

Excited by the potential suggestion, fans began cheering and yelling for the ladies to sing.

“Oh my God, I meant questions. I’m on tour, you guys,” Eilish clarified. “I’m used to saying that. Sorry. Whoa, okay, okay, okay, two questions.”

However, Grande appeared to take to the possible music alliance.

“We do need to do that though,” she said as the crowd continued their screams and pleas for them to perform a duet.

“We’re good. She’s saving,” Grande told the audience as she supported Eilish’s vocal rest amid her ongoing Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. “We’re both resting for now.”

“That’s true. I do want to do that though,” Eilish said, with Grande adding, “Me too.”

Teasing the crowd, Eilish added, “Guys! Okay, sing. But in addition, I don’t know. I’m not supposed to be doing this kind of thing.”

“This is my favorite version of it. I’m crying,” Grande replied.

Eilish also shared that she’s been a longtime fan of Grande’s, noting that her childhood YouTube channel featured plenty of tributes to the “Side to Side” singer.

“There’s many things where I commented like, ‘God, I just love Ariana so much,’ ” Eilish told Grande. “And I used to call you ‘Ari’ to my brother. And he’d be like, ‘Don’t call her Ari. You don’t know her.’ “

“That makes me so really excited,” Grande told her.

Despite her pop star beginnings, Grande previously shared that she plans to focus her career on theater and acting moving forward.

“I’m gonna say something so scary — it’s gonna scare the absolute s— out of my fans and everyone, but I love them, and they’ll deal, and we’ll be here forever,” Grande said in November 2024 on the Las Culturistas podcast. “I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to go on stage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise. But I don’t think doing it at the rate I’ve been doing it for the past 10 years is where I see the next 10 years.”

She added of her next steps, “Reconnecting with this part of myself who started in musical theater, and who loves comedy, and it heals me to do that — finding roles to use these parts of myself and put them in little homes and characters and bits and voices and songs. Whatever makes sense, or whatever roles we see fit, or where I could really do a good job or honor the material, I would really love to. I think it’s a lot better for me. I’m getting emotional.”
