“I loved every minute of this day and every minute in this gown,” the newly married actress wrote of the custom Victoria Beckham gown

Nicole Brydon Bloom’s wedding dress was a “dreamy” labor of love — and she can’t stop raving about it.

On Tuesday, March 18, just days after tying the knot with Justin Theroux in Mexico, the Paradise actress, 30, shared an Instagram post dedicated entirely to her wedding gown, which was designed by the newlyweds’ pal Victoria Beckham.

Alongside several photos of the gown — an asymmetrical, semisheer dress decorated with delicate, lacy floral details — snapped by wedding photographer Corbin Gurkin, Bloom wrote, “This dress 🤍 Thank you @victoriabeckham for creating the most ethereal, dreamy wedding dress.”

“I loved every minute of this day,” she added, “and every minute in this gown.”

Victoria, 50, also raved — and shared more details — about the custom ivory gown in a series of Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

In an Instagram Stories post, the designer first congratulated the newlyweds before addressing Bloom directly. “Designing your gown was such an honour,” she wrote, “and it was incredible to see it come to life on your special day.”

The fashion designer also shared more details about the ivory gown, which Bloom paired with custom Manolo Blahnik sandals at her beach nuptials, the bride told Vogue. (Though she ditched shoes for most of the celebration, opting instead to go barefoot in the sand.)

“Crafted from French Chantilly lace, Nicole’s gown was adorned with over 400 hand-cut, hand-stitched flowers,” Victoria said in another Instagram Stories post. “The crepe de chine slip she wore under it was also embellished with appliqué lace blossoms.”

Bloom revealed how she ended up going with one of Victoria’s designs — two actually; she wore a Victoria Beckham slip dress during another part of the celebration — while chatting with Vogue about her nuptials.

Theroux, 53, has known the designer’s husband, David Beckham, “for many years” and Bloom has “always adored Victoria’s style,” the actress told the magazine. During a weekend getaway with pals (including Victoria) last year, the former Spice Girl “sweetly asked” what the bride was planning to wear in her wedding, and tried to help her nail down a concept, Bloom recalled.

Eventually, Victoria offered to design the gown herself, and Bloom had no objections, telling Vogue that she was “grateful and overjoyed,” and recalling that the designer’s concept “sounded like a dream.”

“I showed her a few of my options and she suddenly, and hilariously, started describing what she envisioned for my gown—something more ethereal, flowy, and light for the sand, with tulle and soft flowers,” Bloom told the magazine, later recalling that “her vision was exactly what I was hoping for.”

At first, the couple wasn’t “quite sure if [Victoria] was serious or not” about taking on the task, Theroux noted. “But she absolutely was,” the groom told Vogue. “A few weeks later, Nicole was in London for fittings.”

And clearly, Bloom couldn’t be happier with the final, flower-covered product she said “I do” in last weekend. “The dress was perfect,” she told Vogue, adding that it was “elegant and timeless while also youthful and just a little sexy.”
