Kris Jenner Gets Exposed for Buying Her Kids ‘Fake’ Chanel Watches Off a Random Truck Thanks to an Unlikely Tip

Kris Jenner‘s kids are always keeping her on her toes — and keeping her humble.

In the March 20 episode of The Kardashians, the momager, 69, is confronted about the one time she may (or may not) have purchased Chanel dupes in the early days of her reality television career.

The secret comes out when Kris is preparing for her mom’s 90th birthday while on FaceTime with her daughter Kourtney Kardashian. While showing her the Chanel scarf party favors, the Lemme founder remembers when her mom bought her and her siblings fake Chanel watches one Christmas.

“You said that they were stolen off of a truck,” Kourtney, 45, said before revealing the shocking source of the tip. “Kathie Lee Gifford told you that they were hot off a truck and that they were real.”

In her confessional, Kourtney goes into detail about the hilarious moment. “Year one of our show, my mom gave us all these Chanel — ‘Chanel’ — watches for Christmas. And they just slowly started chipping and the diamonds would fall out and we were like, ‘Mom, these watches, if these are real, that’s crazy.’ Then she’s like, ‘I bought them from a truck.’” She added that her mom was so excited to spend “five times” her $1,000 paycheck on a “hot watch.”

The scene cuts to Kris’ sitdown in which she says they she does’t remember if the accessories were real or fake Chanel — or if they were even “hot” to begin with. Though, when asked if she was “pleading the fifth,” she replied yes.

You likely won’t see Kris standing in line for fake Chanel anything now as her designer wardrobe is as real as it gets, especially when it comes to her vintage options (she once wore a 2005 crested Chanel blazer that was featured on Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada).

And now that her kids are all grown up, Kris is the one on the receiving end of some of her kids’ luxury purchases. Back in December, she was gifted a $4,000 Goyard duffle bag from her youngest, Kylie Jenner, who put an even higher price tag on the coveted item by personalizing it with depictions of all of Kris’ kids when they were children on it.
