Cassie is echoing Playboi Carti‘s sentiment for Kanye West to stop posting online.
On Wednesday, March 19, Playboi Carti posted on X, “YE STFU.” The post was picked up on The Shade Room’s Instagram page. Cassie, 38, shared the image on her Instagram Stories.
This message comes after West’s most recent rant on the social media app where the “Gold Digger” rapper, 47, posted messages in support of Cassie’s ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
West also claimed that Cassie “extorted” Diddy, 55. “SO CASSIE AINT EXTORT PUFF? CASSIE CAME TO PUFF AND SAID GIMME 30 MILLION OR IMA RELEASE A TELL ALL BOOK THATS LOOK LIKE EXTORTION TO ME,” West wrote on X in a since-deleted post viewed by PEOPLE.
West additionally alleged that he and Carti “beat women” in since-deleted posts on X that were previously viewed by PEOPLE. “But everybody hate Diddy,” he added.
Carti was arrested for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend in December 2022. He was charged with aggravated assault and hindering persons from making emergency telephone calls, per jail records. He was ultimately released on bonds.

Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, dated Diddy on-and-off from 2007 until 2018. She filed a lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023, accusing him of rape, sex trafficking and domestic violence.
“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” she said in a statement at the time. Diddy denied these claims.
It was settled outside of court the following day with the former couple resolving the claims to their “mutual satisfaction.”

Diddy is currently in jail awaiting trial for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was criminally charged by the feds in September 2024 and denied all allegations.
Diddy has been denied bail three times from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial begins in May.
