Sami Sheen isn’t shying away from addressing dad Charlie Sheen’s past.
The model, 21, took to social media on Tuesday, April 15, to offer insight into her estrangement from her father. In the video, Sami used a viral TikTok sound from a 2011 interview with ABC’s 20/20 in which Charlie, 59, was being questioned about his addiction.
“Are there any drugs in the house?” interviewer Andrea Canning asks the actor in Sami’s clip.
“If there are, you better find them and give them to me immediately,” he replies. “No, there are not. Not that I know about, if I know about them, I’ll find them and throw them away. It’s not a big deal.”
“Ooh, drugs in the house, ah, we’re all gonna die,” the voiceover concludes as Sami mouths along to her dad’s comments.
On the screen, she wrote, “When people wonder why I haven’t spoken to my dad in a year but this is my dad.” She also wrote in the caption: “Pretty much sums it up.”
On April 14, Sami opened up about her relationship with Charlie, who struggled with addiction, during an episode of Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast.
“It’s sad but I make humor out of it, I literally cannot tell you one memory from my childhood of him where he’s been, like, sober, which is kind of sad but, whatever, it’s his choice,” she told Gia, 24, who is the daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice.

She also revealed that she had moved in with Charlie in 2021 because she wasn’t on good terms with her mom, Denise Richards.
“I was living at my mom’s, obviously, with [Richards’ husband] Aaron [Phypers] and [sister] Lola and we were all fighting constantly. I did not get along with anyone. I kind of felt like the odd one out and being the older sister, the blame was always thrown on me for everything,” Sami recalled. “I was really struggling mentally in that house and there’s obviously a lot that I wish I could say, but I’ll get in trouble for saying.”
“But yeah, I just felt like, at the time, me and my dad were on good terms and it was a more peaceful environment. So I wanted to try out living there and like, it was great until it wasn’t,” she continued.

She shared her decision to move in with her dad on TikTok at the time, calling her mom’s house a “hell house” and alleging she had been “trapped in an abusive household” while she lived there. Eventually, Sami told Gia that living with her dad was “not working” either, so she found another solution.
