The Golden Bachelor’s Susan Noles Reveals She ‘Found My Person’ — and He’s a French Man She Met on Tinder!

Swiping right led to meeting Mr. Right for Susan Noles!

The Golden Bachelor alum, 68, revealed on the April 21 episode of her Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast that she has “found my person.”

“I did meet someone and I know I’ve been talking about being single because I didn’t know where it was going to go,” Noles told her co-host Kathy Swarts. “I know what I felt, but wanted to make sure we were both on the same page and I just have to share that we are. We were having fun and were just seeing where things are going and now, I can honestly say he’s the real deal.”

Noles described her boyfriend as “wonderful” and said she felt like “it was my turn” to find love after being on dating sites “forever.”

“I went on national TV on The Golden Bachelor and it didn’t work,” she continued. “And Kathy and I were having a fabulous vacation and one night we went to bed, she was upstairs, I was in my room and I was playing games on my computer and I could not sleep. And I thought, you know what, what do I got to lose? I went on Tinder. See everybody, it does work when you least expect it.”

The reality star said she swiped right on her new beau — a French native named Frédéric — and then ignored the dating app for three days. When Noles checked back, she saw a message from him and they made plans to meet up.

“He is French and he speaks French so when he asked for the first meet I made Kathy come,” Noles said.

Swarts, 71, said she had “had no idea” that Noles had connected with someone during their trip to Saint Martin, but she obliged when her former costar asked her to accompany her on the date because the retired education consultant thought her French skills would be of assistance.

“Susan’s panicked,” Swarts claimed. “She’s like, ‘What am I doing? What am I doing?’ He said bring your earpods because he’s going to load a translation app on her phone.”

Swarts said she “introduced them both to each other in French” before leaving Noles settled in with her iPad and a pair of earphones.

“I was feeling very uncomfortable,” Swarts said. “These two were head down on their phones trying to figure out this translation app.”

As a result, Swarts had their friend and former castmate Nancy Hulkower fake an important call to her to get out of the date. “There was a lot of chemistry,” Noles said of the rest of the date.

After three and a half hours, Frédéric, 54, walked her home. “He wanted to come in, but the rules are the rules,” Noles said.

Swarts said that Noles meeting this man “ended my vacation” because Noles and Frédéric went out dancing the next night and spent “every waking moment” together for the rest of the trip.

“When I said to Kathy, by the third day, ‘Okay, I know you don’t want anybody in here, but he’s coming in, I really like this guy,’” Noles said.

Ultimately, Swarts said she could see “how happy” her friend seemed.

“She couldn’t wipe the smile off her face,” Swarts continued. “She kept saying to me this, I’ve never felt this way about a guy. Susan tends to rush in to love. Susan loves being in love, which is great, don’t we all, but she rushed into it with this guy. But once I got to meet him and talk to him, he was such a nice guy and genuinely nice to me, and I thought, okay, you know what, she might have struck gold here.”

Since February, Noles has traveled back to Saint Martin four times to see her new man, who she described as “tall and handsome,” “as silly as I am” and “a great cook”.

“I found the love of my life,” the wedding officiant business owner said, adding that the two have exchanged “I love yous” and she’s started taking French lessons.

As a result, Noles said she won’t be joining the new season of Bachelor in Paradise, which will feature contestants from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette. “It’s undeniable,” she said of her connection with Frédéric. “Just when you think it’s never going to happen, it happens.”
