Taylor Swift Was the ‘Definition of a Supportive, Happy Girlfriend’ at Chiefs Championship, Fan Who Met Her Says

A Taylor Swift fan recently got the show of a lifetime when she witnessed the singer supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce in a game day suite.

In an interview with Delaware News Journal published Wednesday, Jan. 29, Nicole Viscount of Milton, Del., recalled trying to stay “cool, calm and collected” as she and the pop star, 35, happened to be in the same private suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City this past weekend.

Viscount, who considers herself a lifelong Swiftie since hearing “Teardrops on My Guitar” at 11, is engaged to Kelce’s former college football teammate, Craig Parmenter.

“Once he was in the room, all she did was follow him around to take pictures of him with his family and friends, make sure that he had something to drink and was having a good time,” the fan told the outlet of Swift’s sweet interaction with Kelce, also 35.

She added, “She was the literal definition of a supportive, happy girlfriend.”

Viscount said the Grammy winner could probably sense that she was a fan “just by looking in my eyes,” which worked to her advantage when she got to take a selfie with the “Shake It Off” singer.

Swift leaned in to kiss Viscount on the cheek for the picture.

“She waited for me to fumble around with my phone, very graciously, and then she kissed me on my cheek,” the fan said. “I will probably never wash my face again.”

Kelce recently gushed on Swift’s ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, immediately putting them at ease.

The conversation was featured on Wednesday’s episode of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s New Heights podcast which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.

During the chat, their friends Brandon Borders and Jake Chatzky, who are known on the show as “Intern Brandon” and “Jets Jake”, joined and discussed their time in the VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills 32-29 on Sunday, Jan. 26.

“We walked in the door, and — I’ll give this away — she said our names immediately,” Brandon said of seeing Swift. “It was like, ‘Oh my God. Brandon, Jake, finally!’ We were floored.”

Brandon then admitted that having her acknowledge them “shook us immediately” and also “threw” them.

“She knows how to break the ice. She does,” a proud Travis replied. “She’s a pro at it.”

Similar to Viscount’s story, Brandon said the “Love Story” hitmaker “Probably read that Jake and I were terrified.”

After Sunday’s victory, a source told PEOPLE, “It was an anxious game and the most incredible feeling that they won.”

As for the famous couple, the insider added, “They had friends and family at the game last night. It all felt very special. If there is anyone that knows that incredible feeling after you’ve been intensely focused on a goal, it’s Taylor. They love their football family.”

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles for Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Feb. 9 in New Orleans at the Caesars Superdome.
