‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ star welcomed her first baby earlier this fall
Pauline Chalamet is opening up about the great advice she received after she became a mom for the first time.
On Friday, Dec. 6, The Sex Lives of College Girls star, 32, appears on The Drew Barrymore Show with her castmates, as well as the show’s creator Mindy Kaling, and chats about recently becoming a mom.
During the conversation, host Drew Barrymore asks if Chalamet was able to get any advice from Kaling, who is a mom to three kids: daughter Katherine “Kit” Swati, who turns 7 this month, son Spencer Avu, 4, and daughter Anne, 9 months.
“I did, I think Mindy was one of the first people to know I was pregnant,” she shares. “I called her. I was like, ‘Ok, we’re about to start, and, surprise!’ And she was like, I mean, you were just so supportive and had the best advice because also she’s just…Mindy does it all.”

“So she was like, “Yeah, ok, no problem. And this is how we’ll handle it.’ And everyone was so supportive.”
In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) by French publication Paris Match in September, Pauline could be heard telling director Greta Gerwig during Paris Fashion Week that she just welcomed a baby.
“I just had a baby!” Pauline exclaimed. “No!” responded Gerwig, who has worked with Pauline’s brother Timothée Chalamet numerous times.
“Yeah!” Pauline said. “Oh my god!” Gerwig said.
“We just had a baby,” Pauline responded, putting an arm around a man standing to her right. “Three weeks ago.”
Reps for Pauline did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment at the time.
The Drew Barrymore Show airs Monday through Friday on CBS.
