It’s time to bid farewell to 2024. While some reality stars, like Bravo’s Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo, said goodbye to old romances this year, others said hello to new ones. Get the full report.
Reality check: Relationships have ups and downs, and reality TV couples experienced several highs and lows this year.
Take Bachelor Nation, for instance. While there were several rosy engagements—with Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple, Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson and Michelle Young and Jack Leius all preparing to say “I do”—there were some thorny splits too, including Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s surprise divorce, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo‘s shocking split and Jenn Tran and Devin Strader’s pre-finale breakup.
Over in the Bravoverse, Summer House‘s Paige DeSorbo confirmed breakup rumors by announcing that she and Southern Charm‘s Craig Conover have ended their three-year relationship. A few Real Housewives stars also got real about where their relationships stood. Atlanta’s Porsha Williams filed for divorce from husband Simon Guobadia after 15 months of marriage, and Beverly Hills’ Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley announced their separation after nine years as husband and wife. And while Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute SUR-ved up engagement and pregnancy news and Katie Maloney debuted a new romance, their former co-stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are moving on from their relationship by getting divorced.
But that’s not all. The Duggars kept counting on as Jana Duggar added husband Stephen Wissmann to the family with their August wedding, and Jon Gosselin found his forever plus-one in fiancée Stephanie Lebo. Some Love Island stars also parted ways after the villa—including Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, who announced the end of their engagement in August after five years together, and Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington, who revealed their breakup after the reunion that same month.

“I have a boyfriend,” Katie said on the Oct. 16 episode of her podcast Disrespectfully without naming names. “Yeah, I’m in love.”

Michelle and Jack continued to offer glimpses into their life—including their vacations, date nights and moving in together—and he popped the question in December 2024.

Jon previously married had a very public divorce from Kate Gosselin, mom to his twins Mady and Cara as well as sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Leah, Joel, Hannah and Collin.
And while the father of eight has said that, other than Hannah and Collin, his children don’t speak to him, he’d invite all of the kids to the wedding.
“I would definitely do that,” Jon told Entertainment Tonight in an interview shared Dec. 4. “I would definitely send an invite to all of them. You know, they are my kids.”

In March 2024, Blake and Giannina grew their pod by welcoming son Heath. Eight months later, the couple got engaged during what she thought was a family photo shoot in Spain.

Since then, the couple—who got engaged during the Nov. 13 season finale in Bora Bora—has continued to keep fans updated on their journey, including apartment hunting for their first home together in New York.
As for when Joan—who first appeared on Gerry Turner‘s season of The Golden Bachelor—and Chock plan to the knot, she previously told E! News they’re aiming for about a “year-ish.” However, the school administrator from Maryland and the insurance executive from Kansas haven’t ruled out the possibility of having a televised wedding.
“Bachelor Nation has kind of watched us through this whole journey,” Joan told E!, “and then to abruptly end it and not show anybody the next chapter of it would be not really that kind. And so we’re thinking about maybe, maybe doing that.”

The Bachelor Nation member—who first appeared on Becca’s season of The Bachelorette—and the TikToker made their romance Instagram official in June after months of sparking dating rumors.
Jason—who announced the end of his engagement to former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe almost a year prior—and Kat offered glimpses into their relationship, including them going on dates and him spending time with her daughter MJ from her former marriage to ex Mike Stickler.
But in October 2024, the social media star confirmed her split from the Trading Secrets host—noting “it was amicable” but that their relationship “just didn’t work.”
“It’s not love wasted,” Kat said in a TikTok at the time. “I feel like sometimes, it’s so easy to think when a relationship ends that the love was wasted but love is never wasted.”
But that doesn’t mean the breakup was easy.

“That’s definitely the end goal,” Chelsea told E! News in an October interview. “I’m 32, so I’m ready to have my partner and hopeful that things are going in that direction now. So, we’ll see.”

Fans were shocked by this bombshell: Just over a year after Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury got engaged, the Love Island U.K. stars revealed their breakup.
“Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Aug. 14. “After five years together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.”
However, Molly-Mae expressed how she was grateful for her time with Tommy as it led them to become parents to daughter Bambi.
“I’m extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end,” she added. “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me, now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us, there would be no her. She will always be my priority.”
And Tommy echoed her sentiment.
“The past five years have led us to have our beautiful baby girl,” he wrote in his own post. “I will forever be grateful to Molly-Mae for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.”
However, he shut down any rumors of infidelity.
“Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media,” a spokesperson for him told The Mirror, “and he’s consulting his lawyers.”
As for the reason Molly-Mae and Tommy split, they’re keeping that private.
“No one will ever really know what went down apart from Tommy and I,” she told British Vogue in November, “and that’s how we’d like to keep it, for Bambi’s sake.”

“It’s really sad,” the alum from Katie’s season of The Bachelorette told Jason on the April 22nd episode of his podcast Trading Secrets. “I just want to respect her during this time and not go into detail on anything. We’ve definitely ended things. And yeah man, I don’t have anything bad to say. She’s amazing, and I know that she’ll continue to do amazing things.”
Victoria echoed Greg’s message and noted in May she wished him “nothing but the best.”
