After Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was accused of peeing in bottles on set and being chronically late while filming Red One with Chris Evans, he shared insight into what his behavior was really like.

Months after Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was accused of bad behavior—including chronic tardiness, lack of professionalism and peeing in bottles—on the set of his latest movie Red One, he set the record straight about those allegations. And admitted that there were aspects that were accurate—to a degree.
“I pee in a bottle,” Dwayne confirmed to GQ in an interview published Nov. 11. “Yeah. That happens.”
For the Fast Five actor, relieving himself in that fashion saved time while filming when he was away from his trailer. And he doesn’t shy away from his decision, either.
“I’ve said a thousand times,” he added, “‘Hey, I’m here. Come and ask me. And I’ll tell you the truth.'”
Along with his quick fix to bathroom visits, Dwayne noted that there were a few occasions when he was late to set sometimes, but not by eight hours as described in The Wrap report. “That happens too,” he explained. “But not that amount, by the way. That was a bananas amount. That’s crazy. Ridiculous.”
Overall, he described the controversy, which also accused the actor of driving up the film’s budget by $250 million with his frequent tardiness, as “bulls–t.”
And he has his cast—like costar Chris Evans—and crew to back him up. Red One director Jake Kasdan stressed to the outlet that the Moana star “never missed a day of work.”
“He has a lot going on,” he continued. “He can be late sometimes, but such is Hollywood—that’s the case with everybody. Honestly, I’ve made three big movies with him. I’ve never seen him be anything but great to every single person on the set.”
Karen Neal/PrimeAlthough Dwayne’s unique bathroom solution has raised some eyebrows, it’s something he’s implemented in other parts of his life, like at the gym.
“I do pee in my water bottles, but let me give context to that,” he told Esquire in November 2021. “It’s not a water bottle that I’ve actually purchased solely for water that you wash and clean when you’re done using it. These are just bottles that I’m no longer using. Usually, the gyms that I work out in don’t have a bathroom because they’re the iron paradise. They’re just hot, sweaty and dirty.”
“I usually stay pretty hydrated,” he continued. “I need to go to the bathroom. Not a lot, but probably a couple of times during every workout. So, I break out the bottle.”

“I realize you just saw my big bottle of pee,” he said in the Instagram video that September. “I go hardcore when I train. I find a bottle, I pee in it and I keep training like a beast.”

Telling The New York Times the lengths she would go to for a more youthful appearance, the reality star cracked that she was willing to try just about anything.
“If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might,” she said in June. “I just might.”
In a July 2022 interview with Allure, Kim said she was “kind of joking” about the comment, though the idea didn’t seem too terrible.
“But now that I think about it,” Kim added, “I would probably eat s–t if someone told me, ‘If you eat this bowl of poop every single day, you’ll look younger.'”
How much could she make room for? “Maybe just a bite,” she told the outlet. “I don’t think I can do a whole bowl.”
