“She’s fine right now,” the reality star’s mother, Denise Fuoco, told NBC News on Wednesday, Jan. 22
Mob Wives star Natalie DiDonato is safe after being reported missing by her worried family, according to reports.
On Tuesday, Jan. 21, PEOPLE reported that the reality television star, 44, who joined the VH1 series for season 5, was the subject of a missing persons case.
Per TMZ, she’d failed to catch two separate flights home to Florida, one being on Jan. 5.
DiDonato’s mother, Denise Fuoco, told NBC News on Wednesday, Jan. 22, that her daughter had been “found.”
“She’s fine right now. We’re trying to get her home,” Fuoco told the outlet, stating she was in Nevada.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) did not immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE for comment.
NBC News added that DiDonato had called her mom on Wednesday to assure her that she was okay, and Fuoco has since told police that “her daughter was no longer missing or in danger,” citing family members.
“No, she didn’t really want to talk about it,’ Fuoco said of why she “went off the grid for a few days.”
“I didn’t push anything, because I’m pretty sure she might hang up,” she added to the outlet.
Fuoco also reportedly confirmed to TMZ that she’d spoken to her daughter and that she’d told her that she’d had her handbag and identification stolen. She didn’t provide any further information, per the outlet, but said DiDonato wasn’t injured.
Former Mob Wives star, Drita D’Avanzo, said she’d spoken to DiDonato’s mom in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday.
“I spoke to Natalie’s mom and she is home and everything ok! I don’t know the details & the details do not matter as long as she is safe🙏thanks for the help!! ♥️,” she wrote.
DiDonato’s sister, Jane DiDonato, told NBC News that the reality star had planned to be in Philadelphia before heading home to Florida, but they found out she was in Las Vegas instead after police allegedly found records of her staying in a hotel in Sin City last week.
“I found out that she was in Philadelphia. She was supposed to go from Philadelphia to Florida, back home. She didn’t get on that flight,” DiDonato’s sister said, per the outlet.
“And then we found out that she was in Vegas. We didn’t believe it was true because we didn’t know anyone that knew that she would be in Vegas. We didn’t know she knew anyone in Vegas,” she added to the publication.
The update comes after the LVMPD confirmed to PEOPLE on Tuesday that a missing person report had been taken for DiDonato, but didn’t share any additional details.
Fuoco previously told TMZ that she’d last spoken to her daughter on FaceTime a week before the family reported her missing. During their call, DiDonato reportedly did not disclose her whereabouts and rushed off the phone while looking nervous and distressed.
When Fuoco tried to contact her again, calling both of her daughter’s cell phones, she did not receive an answer.
Fuoco added that her daughter has seemed “distant” for the past month, and not knowing where she was had her worried “sick” and unable to sleep.
Mob Wives: The Last Stand was the final season of the franchise, which ended in 2016.
