Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly used physical violence against his employees, forcing one to engage in sexual acts with him, a superseding indictment obtained by PEOPLE claims.
Combs, 55, is currently in jail on sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
New claims were filed in the indictment against him in the Southern District of New York on Thursday, March 6, where Combs and his business associates are accused of forced labor against employees.
Combs and his associates allegedly “maintained control over certain employees of the Combs Business, whom he forced to work long hours with little sleep, through use of, among other things, physical force, psychological harm, financial harm, and reputational harm, and/or threats of the same,” per the indictment. Employees believed they would be harmed or lose their jobs if they didn’t follow Combs’ alleged “demands,” the court documents add.
Combs allegedly used physical force and threats to coerce one employee to “engage in sexual acts” with him, the indictment alleges.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on the updated indictment on March 14.
“Mr. Combs has said it before and will say it again: he vehemently denies the accusations made by the SDNY,” Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo tells PEOPLE in a statement. “He looks forward to his day in court when it will become clear that he has never forced anyone to engage in sexual acts against their will.”
“Many former employees stand by his side, prepared to attest to the dedication, hard work, and inspiration they experienced while helping build groundbreaking, award-winning businesses,” Agnifilo concludes.
Combs was arrested in Manhattan on Sept. 16, 2024. The indictment against him was unsealed the next day. It alleged Combs forced victims to participate in “freak offs,” which prosecutors described as “elaborate and produced sex performances.” He also allegedly used drugs like cocaine, oxycodone and ketamine as well as influence and intimidation to coerce women to participate.
Prosecutors previously alleged that Combs’ employees from security staff to personal assistants were compliant in helping him facilitate the alleged freak offs.
