Chappell Roan is opening up about her love life.
The “Pink Pony Club” singer, 27, revealed that she’s in a relationship and is “very in love” while appearing on the March 24 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.
Host Alex Cooper asked Roan about her relationship status, saying, “I’m assuming you’re single right now … Wait. Are you single?” Roan then smiled and shook her head before sharing that she has been dating someone for “six months.”
Cooper, 30, asked if it was “casual?” — a nod to the singer’s hit namesake song. Roan replied, “No. It’s serious. I’m very in love.”
The Grammy winner said she met her mystery partner “through a friend,” and their relationship has longevity.
“I’m dating the same person that I was dating before it blew up,” she explained. “I’m not sure how I would date now. I think it would actually be a nightmare. I think I would be, like, so f—— single right now.”
Roan said of the prospect of dating now, “I’m scared. I don’t trust anyone. Any new person that I am texting, I’m like, I’m assuming they will screenshot this and send it to someone else. That’s why I can’t.”
Despite being in a relationship, the singer declared that she is still “pro-single” as she urged listeners to “stop dating.”
“Have a great time alone. Find out for yourself if you can 100% be okay alone before you date,” she advised. “That’s what I found out. I had a great time when I was single. And I know that I will be okay. And now I have an awesome time that I’m with someone.”

Roan’s confession comes around six months after she shared in a cover story with Rolling Stone that she is seeing someone “completely outside of the industry.”
“I met this girl that I really like,” Roan told the outlet in September 2024. She added that she “can’t commit” though due to being “avoidant.”
“She’s so awesome and so secure in herself and [has told me] ‘No pressure, we can just be friends if you want,’ ” the singer said.

Speaking about coming out as a lesbian on Call Her Daddy, Roan said, “Obviously, I’ve come into being more comfortable with saying I’m queer with dating women. But I don’t know. Something, like, f—– up my sexuality. This I think, like, my nervous system is so fried that I can’t even feel, like, flirtatious. Like, it’s just too intense to even, like, be sexual at all.”
