- Meghan Markle shared a new Instagram post after announcing that the first products from her lifestyle brand, As ever, will be for sale this week.
- The new photo showed the Duchess of Sussex and her dog Mia at a photoshoot that took place at her Montecito, California, home.
- The photo shoot featured products like her raspberry jam and crepe mix.
Meghan Markle‘s backyard in California provided the perfect photo shoot backdrop for her As ever lifestyle brand, and her dog Mia wanted to be part of the action.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, celebrated the news that the first products of her latest venture will become available for purchase this week by sharing a behind-the-scenes image on her Instagram page on March 31. The snap showed Meghan from behind seated in a chair as her rescue beagle perched herself on two legs to get closer. On the table before her is a picture-ready spread featuring some of her new products.
Two other people, seemingly helping with the photo shoot, can also be seen in the picture.
“This is our week,” she captioned the post, tagging @aseverofficial. “BTS from the shoot at my house (Hi Mia!).”

The As ever Instagram page has been sharing new photos since it launched on Feb. 18, seemingly from the same photo shoot. In fact, Mia made it into the brand’s first post, which appeared to show Meghan drizzling honey onto a croissant.
Other snaps showed Meghan cutting into a crepe filled with jam, highlighting the crepe mix and raspberry spread that are part of the first products from the As ever brand,
Mia’s not the only family member to get in on the fun — Meghan’s two children with Prince Harry have also made an appearance on the As ever Instagram page.
Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, both appeared in a March 24 post, with Archie hugging his mother’s leg while she holds Lili, who matched mom in a sun hat.
Meghan and Prince Harry, 40, relocated to her home state of California after stepping back from their working roles within the royal family in 2020. After a stay at Tyler Perry’s home in Los Angeles, they relocated to Montecito in Santa Barbara County.
The Duchess of Sussex recently told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview about their family immersing themselves in the local community, who have gotten to know her from school drop-offs and playdates with Archie and Lili.
“We hosted a little camp because winter break was long!” she said. “We had several days with different families at our home, and we were able to get to know the parents better, and all the kids could play.” Meghan and Harry set up obstacle courses and face painting. “It’s a dream,” she added. “But I also know that being part of a community means you put effort into it.”
Along the way, she said Montecito has become protective of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their children: “Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is.”

While Meghan held a photo shoot for As ever at their Montecito home, she opted to film her Netflix series With Love, Meghan at another property, a nearby rental that echoes her own space.
“I wanted to protect that safe haven,” she told PEOPLE. “We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day.”
She adds, “Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”
