Four women in the U.K. are suing controversial Internet personality Andrew Tate, with one allegedly accusing him of pointing a gun in her face, according to multiple reports.

The women have accused Tate, 38, of assault, rape and coercive control, claiming the alleged abuse took place in the U.K. towns of Luton and Hitchin between 2013 and 2015, per High Court documents reported on by the BBCThe Independent and The Telegraph.

Two of the women were allegedly in relationships with Tate in 2013 and 2014, while the other two worked for his webcam business, The Independent reported. The outlet noted that three of the women had previously reported him to the police, but the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) chose not to pursue the charges in 2019.

Tate — who is also facing a mix of separate criminal and civil charges in Romania, the U.K. and the U.S. — has denied all accusations against him and hasn’t been convicted of any crimes. He insisted the latest accusations were “false” and that the women “were not controlled, and did not behave as though they were controlled,” by him, The Independent reported.

One of the four women who filed the civil case against Tate, known as AA, claimed he “threatened [her] daily” while she was working for him in 2015. She claimed at one point she was threatened with a gun in her face as he reportedly called himself “a boss” and a “G,” saying, “You’re going to do as I say or there’ll be hell to pay,” according to the BBC.

AA also said Tate allegedly “grabbed her by her throat and pinned her up against the wall, so she was unable to move” twice, the outlet reported, adding that Tate had denied the claims.

AA said she would stay with Tate and his brother Tristan, 36 — whom he was arrested alongside in Romania in 2022 in connection to an investigation looking into human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women — while they filmed content for their business, per The Independent. She alleged Andrew raped her in a Hilton Hotel in Luton, per the outlet, before raping her a second time within the two months that followed.

Among accusations made by another woman, known as BB, Tate “made it very clear that she was ‘his,’ and if anyone else spoke to her, he would kill them,” alleging she was “forced to barricade herself inside the bathroom while the Defendant [Tate] threatened to ‘beat the s— out of’ her,” the BBC reported.

Tate said, per the outlet, that his relationship with BB was “loving and affectionate until shortly before she ceased to work for the business,” again denying the allegations made against him.

One of the women involved in the civil case, whom the BBC called “Sienna,” said that sex between the pair was consensual initially, but accused him of then starting to “strangle” her, she told the outlet.

“I passed out, and he carried on having sex with me,” she told the publication. Tate denies strangling the woman, saying he “may have put a hand on her neck but there was no restriction of her breathing,” per the BBC.

Sienna also alleged in a claim submitted to the court that she’d seen a gun on Tate’s sofa in late 2014, adding that she “did not know if it was real or a replica.” Tate responded that “there may have been a toy gun in the flat but the 4th Claimant [Sienna] never said anything about it,” the BBC reported.

According to The Telegraph, one of the women claimed she’d allegedly been strangled so much by Tate that she’d developed red petechiae around her eyes, which is caused by broken capillaries and is a common result of asphyxiation.

The four women — who say they’ve developed long-term mental health problems as a result of Tate’s alleged behavior — are seeking damages in the civil court for “assaults, batteries and infliction of intentional harm,” the outlet stated.

Lawyer Matt Jury of the law firm McCue Jury & Partners, who is representing the women, said his clients had “been denied justice by the police and CPS, while watching Andrew Tate’s influence grow,” per the BBC.

“They have been left with no other choice but to bring their case in the High Court to finally bring Tate to account,” he added, according to the outlet.

A preliminary hearing for the case is due to take place on April 15 at 10:30 a.m. local time at the Royal Courts of Justice, London, the High Court confirmed in an email to PEOPLE.

Andrew Ford of law firm Holborn Adams, whom is representing Tate, said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE, “These allegations are vehemently denied and will be fully contested in Court.”

“The allegations, including the reference to a gun, were fully investigated by the Police. No gun was found when the Police conducted their searches. When the case was sent to the Crown Prosecution Service they took the decision not to charge Mr Tate with ANY offence,” he added.

“This must have been on the basis that they formed the view that there was insufficient prospect of conviction were the case to have been taken to Court. Given the specifics of the claim, one can see why they formed that view,” Ford’s statement concluded.

Over the past decade, the Tate brothers gained notoriety — and a massive social media following — thanks to their brand of toxic masculinity that they promote online, which includes sexist statements, hate speech and over-the-top displays of wealth.

The recent U.K. civil case against Andrew Tate is the latest in a long line of legal issues that the brothers have been facing after their arrest in Romania in 2022.

Romanian authorities indicted the brothers on human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women charges in June 2023, and they were placed on house arrest. However, in December 2024, a Romanian appeals court ruled that the case against the Tates could not go to trial due to several legal and procedural irregularities from the prosecutors, per the Associated Press. The case has since been returned to the prosecutors and remains open.

The brothers also faced additional charges in March 2024, but this time, they stemmed from a U.K. arrest warrant relating to alleged sexual aggression charges. They are also under criminal investigation in the U.S. state of Florida.

McCue Jury & Partners, who are representing the claimants, did not immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE for comment.
