The couple added that their daughter “was pure joy and sunshine,” making every day they had with her a “blessing.”
Concluding their caption with a quote from pastor Tim Keller about life’s ups and downs, Lauren and Wilson wrote, “That is what we are in for, nothing less.”
Alongside their heartfelt caption, the couple included various family snapshots, including one of the parents kissing Lily Ann’s head, and another that showed the tot placing her fingers on Wilson’s lips.

In a post on her Instagram Stories, Lauren said she’s finding it “so hard” to engage with her followers following Lily Ann’s death, as her daughter “loved” joining her in posts.
The influencer added that she and Wilson were “fully prepared” after their daughter’s birth that they would maybe only have a few weeks or a month as a family.
After announcing her pregnancy in January 2024, Lauren went on to document everything in the lead-up to Lily Ann’s birth.
After Lily Ann was born, she was “admitted to the pediatric ICU 8 hours after discharge from the hospital,” Lauren revealed in an Instagram post at the time, later describing her baby girl as a “miracle” in a post expanding on her health.
“Lily Ann was born with a condition where she cannot break down protein,” she wrote alongside a photo of her daughter. “She is missing a critical enzyme in the urea cycle.”

“Lily Ann was hospitalized for her first month of life which lead to her first nasogastric(NG) tube,” the post continued. “It was critical for her get a specific amount of calories so her body didn’t breakdown her own muscles for protein.”
“It allowed access for immediate food and medications delivery,” Lauren added. “After months of feeding therapy, she was still unable to take bottles by mouth, so they moved forward with a G-tube surgery in December”
Earlier this month, Lauren shared new photos of Lily Ann on Instagram, alongside an update on the outcome of the surgery.
“Our angel girl 🤍 we couldn’t be more in love or more obsessed with her!!” she wrote. “And for those who remember how nervous I was about her gtube – it’s been amazing and so life saving for us!!”
