Jelly Roll is nearly 200 pounds lighter.
The 40-year-old country singer, born Jason Bradley DeFord, shared a milestone regarding his ongoing weight loss journey while appearing on Pat McAfee’s Big Night Aht live show on Wednesday, April 9.
“It looks like you’ve lost a person,” McAfee, 37, told his guest in front of the live audience as the “Best for Me” singer stepped back to show off his physique.

“Congratulations,” the sports analyst said, clapping as Jelly Roll danced.
The crowd cheered on as the music star reveled in his hard work.
McAfee then asked him, “Do you mind giving an update on where you started and where you are now?”
“I started at 540 lbs.,” the “Save Me” singer said. “I’m 357 lbs. [as of] this morning, baby!”
Once again, the crowd erupted with cheers as he shared the good news about his progress.
Jelly Roll then told everyone his plans for the near future, yelling proudly into his microphone: “Imma lose another 100 lbs. to go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby!”

Like the audience, McAfee also rooted for his guest, playfully throwing punches before further congratulating him.
“Live a little bit! Well, we’re all proud of you, we need you to survive, brother, you’re one of the good ones,” the commentator said.
Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie Xo had a whirlwind relationship.
The pair met when she attended one of his Las Vegas concerts in 2015. They dated for a year, then in 2016, he proposed to her onstage during another Las Vegas concert. Instead of having a long engagement, they tied the knot immediately — heading to a courthouse to elope afterwards.

In December 2024, he joined his wife on her Dumb Blonde podcast where he opened up about his weight and his intentions to continue to lose more of it.
“What I want the world to know, and I want people to see … is that I didn’t become successful because of my weight. I became successful in spite of it. I somehow managed to be this successful carrying 550 pounds. That’s insane,” he said.

Jelly Roll, who referred to himself as being “morbidly obese” at the time of the podcast interview with Bunnie Xo, continued to share his ambitions.
“I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026,” he said, noting that it was the first time he ever publicly shared that aspiration. “That’s my new goal. I wanna have one of the biggest transformations.”
