Blake Lively is stepping out to celebrate being named one of TIME‘s most influential people in the world.
On Thursday, April 24, Lively, 37, made an appearance at the TIME100 gala alongside her husband Ryan Reynolds, marking one of the couple’s rare public sightings amid her legal battle with It Ends with Us director-star Justin Baldoni.
Lively embraced an Old Hollywood-inspired look for the occasion. Her Zuhair Murad muted pink gown had off-the-shoulder straps that met with the pleated bodice, which lay atop her fitted corset. The gown’s skirt was form-fitting, with an attached train that added volume to her luxurious look.

Lively opted to keep her blonde hair in a loose, wavy blowout that perfectly framed her face. Her matte lipstick and eyeshadow subtly matched the color of her gown.
But her jewelry brought a contrast to her look, with oversized green gemstones used in her dangle drop earrings, a chunky ring and a chain bracelet. She also wore an emerald bracelet, her engagement ring and three gold statement rings.
Reynolds sported a sophisticated black tuxedo with black patent leather loafers. His appearance follows his sit-down interview at the TIME100 Summit in New York City on Wednesday, April 23. Lively was not present that night.

The couple previously stepped out together at Saturday Night Live‘s 50th anniversary special in February, where Reynolds made an on-air joke about Lively’s highly-publicized lawsuit against Baldoni and Baldoni’s countersuit against the couple, which he filed in January. (The civil case concerning Lively and Baldoni’s legal battle is set to go to trial in March 2026.)
In March, Lively appeared at SXSW in Austin, Texas, alongside Anna Kendrick and director Paul Feig for the world premiere of Another Simple Favor, a sequel to 2018’s A Simple Favor. “Making this movie was already the gift, every element of it,” she wrote on Instagram after attending the festival. “To share it with you all and feel the love returned to us was the best feeling,” Lively said at the event.
The actress shared a screenshot from her TIME100 piece to Instagram after she was named to the magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people on Wednesday, April 16, writing that she considered it “an honor to be acknowledged on the @time 100 list for 2025.”

“To be written about by the great @sherrilynifill is not something I take lightly. Her work has shaped our nation. WHO SHE IS – as a human, woman, mother, leader, fighter, healer, empath, risk taker and dream maker- has shaped my heart and also my stamina to never stop believing in a future that’s better and safer for everyone,” Lively wrote in a caption to that post. “Thank you @time And thank you @sherrilynifill for one of the most surreal and meaningful moments of my life in this honor. My 10 year old self is pretty blown away right now. 🎈🥹✨”
