“Our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap,” Grimes wrote of Musk in a series of since-deleted posts on X Thursday

Elon Musk‘s former partner Grimes is pleading with him to speak with her about their child’s “medical crisis.”
In a series of since-deleted tweets widely circulated on Thursday, Feb. 20, the singer-songwriter, 36, initially implored Musk, 53, to “Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis.”
She continued, “I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.”
She did not elaborate on what the medical crisis was.
Musk and Grimes were first linked in May 2018. They dated off and on before calling it quits for good in 2022. The two share three children, X Æ A-Xii, 4, Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and Techno Mechanicus, 2. It’s unclear which child she was referencing in her tweets to Musk.
“If you don’t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon,” Grimes said in another tweet Thursday.
She later responded to an X user who suggested that Grimes “going public” with her concerns may not help the situation.
“I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap,” Grimes replied. “So I need him to f—— respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we’re at.”
In a separate reply, Grimes laughed after a fan told her she had been “shadow banned,” on X, meaning her posts have become restricted and less visible to others. In a before-and-after screenshot shared by the fan, Grimes’ tweet is visible on one side, but appears to be removed on the other.
“Lol.,” she wrote in response.
One social media user asked Grimes if she had taken her son to a pediatrician and received a second opinion, to which she replied “yes.”
Musk has not publicly responded to Grimes as of this writing.
“Instead of being present in his children’s lives, he’d rather tweet memes,” a source told PEOPLE.
This isn’t the first time Grimes has publicly called out Musk on X, the social media platform which Musk owns.
Earlier this month, she took issue with Musk taking X Æ A-Xii to the Oval Office, revealing that she found out about the appearance through a random user on X.
“He should not be in public like this,” she wrote on X. “I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
Grimes’ tweets also come about a week after author Ashley St. Clair said she welcomed a child with Musk, the Tesla founder’s 13th, five months ago.
PEOPLE reached out to a rep for Grimes and Musk’s attorneys for comment.
