Garcelle Beauvais‘ former costars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had plenty to say about her exit from the hit Bravo series.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that aired on Tuesday, March 25, Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John were asked their reactions to Beauvais’ announcement earlier in the day that she was quitting the show after five seasons.

At first, both stayed quiet — much to the frustrations and shock of Andy Cohen. “You have no thoughts on it?” he asked. “Neither of you?”

But after some playful back and forth, the two opened up.

“I am disappointed that she is departing like this,” said Saint John, 48, who just joined the series this year. “I wish that she would’ve stuck around to work out another season.”

By “like this,” Cohen, 56, explained Saint John was referring to Beauvais storming off the set of the season 14 reunion and cursing out her costars. ‘I’m really pissed right now. So, I don’t want to answer anymore questions, honestly … I am just so f—— sick of it,” she shouted in teases for the reunion, before leaving the stage. “Everybody can go f— themselves, I don’t care.”

She went on to vent about her costars behind their backs. “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them,” she said. “They’re all f—— a——-.”

Reflecting on that, Saint John told Cohen, “I don’t think it’s a high note.”

And while Jayne, 53, spent much of her time on WWHL throwing shade Beauvais’ way, she got sincere about her costar by the end of the episode. “Garcelle, I just really wish you stuck it out. I just really do,” she said. “I know that I’ve been catty tonight. I know you’ll do well, but I just wish you stuck it out.”

Beauvais made her debut on RHOBH in season 10, which began airing in April 2020. She made history as the first Black woman to join the cast of the Los Angeles-based series since its premiere in October 2010.

Over the years since then, the Coming to America actress has become a fan-favorite — though she finds herself in the hot seat at the three-part reunion when her costars grill her about, as an official Bravo description put it, “the hurtful insinuations she made throughout the year.”

Viewers will have to wait to see just what else goes down that ultimately leads to Garcelle’s exit. When annoucning her departure on social media, Beauvais didn’t mention any reunion drama, instead chalking up her exit to a combination of wanting to devote time to her twin sons Jaid and Jax, 17, and to focus on new projects.

Said Garcelle: “One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys. Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that. And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too. And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in — I can’t tell you anything now but you’ll know soon.”

She went on to thank everyone involved in the series, including her costars and RHOBH‘s producers as well as the fans themselves. “You guys have cheered me on, supported me, and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf,” Garcelle said of her supporters. “It means a lot and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me.”
